Project Objective: Each year the Vision Care Insurance side of our business drives open enrollment marketing to their members. The ask was for a strong and modern consumer-facing direct mailer.
Project Solution: Collaborating closely with the Sr. Art Director and our internal Market Manager, we offered a highly visual minimum-viable-copy approach, versus the traditionally copy-heavy versions (typically one banner image with a supporting image and lots of copy). We also recently began using our secondary colors (in this case yellow) more prominently and felt this was a great opportunity to run with yellow and cyan to add a vibrant punch.
Project Result: Besides winning a Silver Addy, enrollment numbers were up in a year-over-year comparison. Good design is always part of the reason, joined with fantastic efforts by marketing and sales.
