Employee Dinner/Dance:
Award-Winning Theme and Design

Project Objective:
Every two years VSP throws a corporate dinner and dance party for its employees. We are asked to help design the event's theme. For this year, they wanted a red carpet Oscars-like theme and their initial suggestions were very cliché and expected (Oscar statues, red carpet, movie posters).

Project Solution:
After multiple explorations and collaborative meetings, we inspired the annual employee dinner dance committee to choose a new, elevated solution (beyond tacky “Oscar” theme). They were so inspired, that they green-lit an additional $2k to help fulfill the vision. I Art directed two core designers to design a system and apply it to multiple deliverables. These included party invitations in a sleeve, gold-foiled tickets, way signs, step-n-repeat photo background, artwork for digital display, presentation template, and a custom neon entrance sign.

Project Result:
The design won a Silver Addy Award and employee feedback was astonishing...saying it was the best themed dinner/dance yet! Rumors had it that a lot of employees even saved the invitation it was so pretty and well designed and printed.
